God knows everything about you, and He has a beautiful plan for your life. Even before the world was created, and before you were formed in your mother’s womb, God knew you personally and set His purpose upon your life. (Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 139:13–16)
That plan begins with Jesus Christ.
God loves you so deeply that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for your sins. God is holy and just, and because of sin, mankind became separated from Him. The Bible says that “the wages of sin is death.” Every one of us has sinned and fallen short of God’s standard. (John 3:16; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23)
But God, in His mercy, made a way for us to be reconciled back to Him through Jesus Christ. Jesus took our punishment upon Himself by dying on the cross and rising again in victory, so that we may receive eternal life. (2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 3:18)
Now the choice is yours.
The debt of sin has already been paid in full through Jesus’ sacrifice. All you need to do is receive that gift by faith. The Bible says that if you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and confess Him with your mouth, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9–10)
God is calling you back to Himself and into the wonderful plan He has for your life — a plan filled with hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
You can make that decision today.
- Admit your need for God and acknowledge that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23)
- Be willing to turn away from your sins (repent) and ask for God’s forgiveness. (Acts 3:19; 1 John 1:9)
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
- Invite Jesus Christ into your life through prayer, and surrender your life to Him as Lord and Saviour. (John 1:12; Revelation 3:20)
A Prayer of Salvation
“Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, and that You raised Him from the dead. Today, I turn from my sins and invite Jesus into my heart and life. I trust Him as my Savior and choose to follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you sincerely prayed this prayer and placed your faith in Jesus Christ, you have begun a new relationship with Him.( 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 1:12)
